I think this can be a collection of photos we find in the wild of Cobras pointing to the sky.

This guy was parked next to me at work today....

Not to start off what will turn into a glorious thread, but that one is not "too" bad.

Maybe Cobra should starting putting in the manual underneath the diagrams on how to install the RD:

"PS - Your aim will help." :)

First one is aiming at the right front tire. Second is at the wipers.
The first one looks like driver's side suction cup has come loose, causing it to list. I have some pictures, not of placement fails, but of "nice" cars with Cobras.

Haha I agree. I posted it on my phone so it was hard enough to get the pictures to work.

ah, you might be right. I tried to look the best I could when I took the picutre but it was hard to tell.

I need to take more from my work parking lot. Tons of Cobras and radioshacks. This new accountant lady driving a new Lexus SUV has a cobra poitning way to the side.

Edit....

Found another picture, both suction cups are definitley attached. Can't upload the photo now but I will later if I need to for proof.

now don't be to critical of these owners. As we now know cobra users are instructed in their manuals to point them skyward. :)

Well, In my Intermediate expert opinion id say, That lexus...Is probly the best suited car in the parking lot for speeding against radar and laser. Id say hes golden will have plenty of warning.
I would follow about 10 car lengths behind this guy everyday to work hahahahahaha

One at the wipers is an RMR-C475, I know, I had the liberty of testing one about a year ago. What makes this funny is unlike Cobra, if I remember, the manual was quite clear about proper mounting. Addtionally it had one of the better windshield mounts, which kept it very level, it was one of the few praises I had for it. Wonder if it will impact his "scrambler" performance, if he even figured out how to turn it on... :p

Maybe to detect the Vascar Helecopters? Is the Helecopter to ground radio transmission one of the 48 bands?

I saw this one on my way west a few weeks ago, in Carlin, Nevada at a truck stop. Not THAT bad, but pointing at least 20 degrees upward.
