I have been shopping and reading reviews and its pretty grueling with all the ups and downs from 1 star to 5 stars on the same products.

I noticed the Rexing had a smaller following but a rating more toward the positive. I looked at the Blackview's and the base price alone drove me away and then the required add-ons to get the configuration you want drove the nail home. Just make a package and stick a price tag on it...... please.

So I went with a Rexing V1G and took a 1000 mile trip and have no issues with it. At night it sees what you see, no magic, nothing lacking either. And daytime is 1080p so....

I had issues with the manual grammar and called to get an explanation, and they had a DST setting listed but not in the controls in the menu. I called and they answered promptly.
I told them the time kept resetting and they were about to send another with a shipping label in the box when we found out I misinterpreted the term GPS logger. As a former PI we have a logger and an antenna as two different items.
The GPS and/or logger in this case is at the end of the cable. I had simply not setup my GMT time.

The manual seems a touch like a translation but we got through it and they took feedback on the grammar and the missing DST in the menu. The GPS logger setup is the DST.

Other than this the thing works great and the audio capture is fantastic. Its supposed to function up to 160°F and the unit has cooling vents all over it but that test will have to wait until next summer.

For the money I am happy so far. The unit looks bigger in pictures and was why I passed on it earlier. Time will tell.

Glad you enjoy it. Personally I like the S line, and have the S500 and had the S300, but im glad you like the V1G.

That interior looks a lot like a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I just got a '17 JGC Trailhawk and am looking for a dashcam, this unit was one that was on my short list, glad to see you like it.

I've also been pleased with the v1g. Easy to use. Clear video. Great audio. Use a micro SD to micro USB adapter to copy to my phone for posting. Good price also.

I have the same set up in my Mercedes Benz E350. I like the Rexing camera. I wish they made viewing it wirelessly easier. I also wish the GPS antenna was in the unit. But, never the less, it worth $129.00 on Amazon.

My Rexing GPS became unreliable needing to have the plug pulled in and out to get a lock. I told them and they sent me another. It did the same thing. Its in a plastic bag in my garage hoard pile.
Then onto the Blackvue, what junk. A Good looking cam but riddled with short comings and over priced. I wouldn't be surprised if its design and enginerring crew are out of a teenagers bedroom.

I'm rocking a Viofo A129 Duo and its fantastic for the price point. No complaints. CPF's, and Bluetooth remote mounted video protection button. Blows the DR750s away I had, day and night.
I'm putting together a review and will post soon.

Stumbled upon your post. I've has a Rexing V1 for about 2yrs now. No complaints until recently. I have noticed on some power cycles its not capturing video. The challenging part is capturing when it acts up as I only have the screen display on boot up. If the screen is white then it seems to have frozen and requires a power cycle to restore functionality. Not very comforting. Was your issue with it just GPS related? (My model is sans GPS).

If I cant figure it out, I too might be picking up a Viofo. Looking forward to your review.

Video and function was OK. It was the GPS unreliability.
The V1G is OK or was at the time, but nothing like the A129 Duo especially in low light.
