How so? Do you feel that there's something about the testing scenarios that don't accurately mimic realworld situations?
from what ive seen on here, all the testing is real world, combined with long distance no obstructions, to see how far even the "cheapest" detector will pick up.

I don't want to put words in @Jag42's mouth, but I think he meant that people are reporting that their XP is doing better than what some of the testing would indicate.

Hügel66 3 additional features can be added as well to this list. This thread should be stickied i think. If i think of anything else i will add :)

XP has dedicated city hwy button, dfr7 does not. On dfr7 one needs to press 2 buttons simultaneously on opposite sides to change modes, sometimes while traveling 60 mph. - Uniden can you explain this? This shouldn't have passed design approval.
XP has Amber bigger and more visible display in direct sunlight. Dfr7's display is smaller and hard to see in direct sunlight.
XP is more well rounded RD vs dfr7. XP performs better in testing on 33.8 and similarly on 35.5 and 34.7

My XP also has a better, more easily read display than my R1. ( I'm unsure if this is also true with an R3 as I don't own one )

- XP database is updated monthly (we are working on real time updates so you can update every day) – DFR7 database is not updated regularly (maybe twice a year)

Michael, Has there been a RLC and Speed Cam update since the one dated 1/25/17 that's on the website?

He was quoting Michael's initial post. Made it a little confusing, but he's quoting that section, and then asking him about it.
Correct, sorry about that. I messed up the formatting of the quote

Good question, the Camera data is so out of date it's misleading to leave it enabled.
Waze is far more accurate, so that's what I rely on.

Actually, I just turned that off too, as I don't want to be tempted to run a yellow.

I own a R3 and Bossdad71 loaned me his RADENSO XP for 2 weeks which I parlayed into a FULL MONTH !!

Th RADENSO XP is bar None the QUIETEST BEST LAID OUT VISUALLY SEEABLE yet still get the Alerts Detector I have ever Run !!
My SECOND FAV is my RADENSO RPSE !!

My R3 in order to shut it up on K Band FALSES has to be COMPLETELY NEUTERED and even then I live with Ghosting" and the possibility of a Missed Shot due to K Band Preference on Strength.

I was Leaning on going back to my RPSE as my GOTO detector ... and then I saw all my Findings confirmed by my RDF Peeps ... sigh.

UNIDEN ... Get this R3/R1 Puppy fixed Already ... sigh

Shelved for NOW = DFR7 / R3 / V1 / REDLINE
Kept for NOW = RPSE / BRD NET RADAR REMOTE

@benzr... You and I are on the same page... I have dwindled down too just two detectors... The RPSE and the RXP for all the reasons that you articulated so well...
I'm hoping that Michael and his team will be able to resolve the BSM and other annoying false alerts on their Flag-Ship detector RPSE... If and when they do, it will be one of the best detectors on the market bar none... a real complete, inconspicuous small package!...:)
