Considering alp gets some awesome range on them.

I'm going with either stinger isn't sensitive or it's crippled in the software.

I have no doubt it's sensitivity, though surely they can do better in PoliScan detection then being right on top of it before it alerts.
While so far I've been lucky with them I have a feeling my luck has just run out after an encounter a few days back.

    This was his response:
    Dear Andrew,

Unfortunately Freedom Laser is not available for the US. It is being shipped to other parts of the world, but you cannot use it in the US as it has not been adapted for it. This is all we can mention about it now.

    Kind regards,

    Marcel

I'd love to know which "other parts" of the world he is referring to, I am sure someone would have been on here with some experiences.

My Stinger today, alerted to KA 34.9. it kept alerting for more than 10 minutes until I powered it down and restarted, it's not the first time something like this has happened.

Whereabouts are the temperatures you're dealing with over there?

When it starts to get cold, i cannot run stinger at S+1 or above, or i get incessant KA falsing. (All over the KA spectrum, but usually in 35.4ish territory)

Fortunately as of 4.x, this is no longer a major bummer. It used to be you had to run S+1 or you'd get C/Owned by rolling K-band. But S+0 will take care of you just fine these days.

"okay, google, what is 23c in Fahrenheit" ... "that's 73 degrees" Whew, okay.

That's way warmer than when i experience the issue - it happens to me around 30F.(or -1c). If it goes below around 20F, the issue goes away again, so there's a sweet spot around freezing point.
But i think you guys use different antennae than the US, and different frequencies to deal with, so it may be more susceptible to 60-70ish.

For me, it is distinctly temperature related. If the day is really cold, it starts out fine, and as the antennae warms up around that sweet spot it goes bananas, then if it warms up enough, it works fine again. In the afternoons it almost never happens because it's usually much warmer in the afternoon. But if it's a cold afternoon, it will go crazy again. Very predictable.

    Food for thought, i guess.

never had that situation as what Dragons experienced , but i think iv'e read also that the Ant is a sensitive to the opposite end HEAT as well, but not at 23c levels,if it persist may be Ant developing a fault
