Perhaps you are referring to "create ignore pins" under debug settings? These events will store as light blue pins and will quickly populate your map (easy to delete selectively using pickers)

Can we get the overlay to be on the right side again? I'm tired of using YaV1.

Got one more for you. So I don’t want V1D to GPS lockout Ka, so I have Ka learn off. However, it seems this prevents me from viewing historical Ka alerts. If I am correct, my feature request would be the ability to log like the auto learn function, without turning the lock out part on.
Go to Debug Settings and Enable Create Ignore Pins”.

Let me look into it. Ideally I wanted to do what Google maps does where you can drag it where you want. But that was a little bit more work. I can probably easily do what I do vertically.

It might be useful to add a pin selector for "all except ignore pins" which would de-clutter the map but still make that data available on demand.

Keep in mind most ignore pins are Ka and Laser. So you can use the Band to effectively remove all the ignore pins by changing it to K band.

This feature request was just released in Version 1.0.0.12, sorry for the delay, took a little while to update code for language changes. I'm using Kotlin which is still in flux.

But what did you mean by "again"?

You can now control the X and Y position and the size in X (size in Y is calculated from X).

The Default is Overlay Off but the default parameters are Full Width in the Center of the Screen.

Remember these settings are under Notification Settings.

These position attributes have all been reset on Version 1.0.0.121 and the the old Parameter to do Full Width has been removed.

If you wanted to say put it in the upper right hand corner then set:

Horizontal Size to 50%
Horizontal Position to be 100% to the Right
Vertical Position 0% from the Top

And you get this.

It seems like this feature is possible. I thought I had found it with the ”auto dark”.

Is it possible to have the V1 dark except for when there is an unmuted alert?

Basically I want to have my V1 look like it’s off except for when there is an alert, then the display would come on until the threat is away, then it would go back to dark.

I've got that in a different app. I'd think that V1 Driver could do it too.

I don't use that feature. I don't want my detector to ever light up and give away it's position above my mirror.

Of course it is possible. The feature somewhat conflicts with my “failsafe” design. In that it could lose connection while display is off. Also the V1 can be a little fragile changing the config (basically) during an alert.

I suspect feature updates are pending so I reiterate 2 previous suggestions which are probably quite doable:
Perhaps add a “Cop” button to tap when the blue lights turn on to darken & mute (better would be power off but I doubt it’s possible) V1 and begin recording audio.
How about automatic dark and mute below a preset speed (i.e. 5 MPH). This would be handy if LEO does pull you over.

Ahh. Yea I read through the thread and figured that might have fallen under your “failsafe” thing. I appreciate your response, and the ”failsafe” feature. I’ll default to you on that, I’d rather not get pulled over. That’s why I bought the thing. Thanks.

Mostly been just keeping up with iOS 13 (which was bigger impact than typical, always something though) and just minor improvements right now.

Is it possible to set different speeds for different alerts?

I am getting a ton of laser false alerts from LED headlights, but it seems to mostly on single lane roads going around 50mph or below. Plus the only time I will encounter laser in my state (NJ) is on the parkway/turnpike/etc, where I will be going faster than 50mph. Would be nice to set savvy mute to 20mph or below for X/K/KA, but set laser mutes at 50mph or below.

I've considered it before and may again. It complicates the main screen. But your idea has merit. I had once suggested not alerting above a certain speed for K band because I don't ever get hit with K band on the highway, but not many bit.

I'll put it on my to do list.

For me Laser is most critical on those single lane under 50 mph roads. In fact all threats are worst in those under 50 mph conditions. I've never had a ticket over 50 mph.
