Soon. Have been dealing with flooding issues in my area. My parents have been living in my house for over a month. I'm working on a large test but it's going to take some time to get everything together, but yes soon.

Trust me I'm watching. I've been silently observing with my good eye! :pwn: Oh and for the record Veil DOES NOT WORK!

Initial results thus far on the NR have been very promising. The K filtering is to date the best I've seen even better than Stinger or the V1. Regardless I'll let the results speak for themselves. Despite the fact that PC thinks I'm doing nothing....
Truth be told, I've missed you and your posts around here....... mirage .....

as to doing nothing , I doubt that ;)

Didn't take me long to find it while I was killing time waiting for you sleep-in guys to show-up. :D
I'll bet there's even better ones around all that farmland there. I'd really like to see how your Magnum does against PC's "Old Nelly" - Nelly kicked my V1's a$$ & I thought I had a pretty sensitive one...but I got PC back real good when I used his own TSS to take him down.
Yes, you took down the LE10, no doubt about that :) there are those still living in Fantasyland who think it'll protect against the new guns......fortunately you and I @RedRocket know better!!!

As to MWCTG, I've been busy with "herding training " for the pups in Wisconsin of all places......( not far from where we test). It's amazing when a 40 lb herding dog can herd 10,000 lbs of cattle or horses.... @oldcelt will appreciate what I am talking about. These damned dogs are cunning....

I couldn't love that testing sled any more if I tried! I wonder what the constables would make of that if they saw you motoring around in your Miata holding a tea tray full of RDs! :p

Joking aside I'm very excited to see more testing and real-world experiences with the Net Radar. Vortex, have you had ANY BSM falses from GMs with the Net Radar yet? If it blocks everything TMF2 blocks plus GM I'm 100% sold.

Tea Tray , now that's funny ;)

its certainly a great way to test and fair as well as all are on a literally level playing field. It appears that Tom got the K falses quelled and isn't that what many of us are looking for??

There is one GM system that is just too close to real radar to ignore and no one can ignore it without risking a missed real threat. Its on some Cadillac SRX, Buick Enclaves & Chevy Traverse models. Other than these I have not seen any other false alerts but when more users start using it we will get a better grasp if there are other systems that get through. I can say without a doubt that its far better than the 9500CI & Sti-R Plus on false alerts. I traveled a long trip over 2 hours and counted over 50 K False alerts (with TSR on) on the Plus to less than 5 False K alerts with the Net Radar with TSR off and only the K Filter on.

^ - Those 2 drive me nuts b/c there seems to be so many of them around where I drive...only encountered a few of the SRXs, guess they're to expensive for most drivers in my area.

p.s. - the GM radars usually run pretty high in the K-band. eg: 24.232GHz,... it's rare to see a LEO unit in the upper range of the K-band like that.

I think something like a one-minute mute option that pops up during K-band alerts would be useful.

You can switch use a City Filter and set it to ignore alerts on X or K band to a certain level. I have my city Yellow set to 3/9 and City Red set to 5/9. Most of these system unless you are right on top of them are low strength maybe 3/9 so you can set a City Filter to ignore alerts until 4/9 etc and switch back to Highway when the threat passes. I dont even bother and leave it in Highway all the time but its an option if you see many of them. Most days I dont see any K false alerts.

Not true.. GM has several different sensors. I have a Traverse at 24.155 that I tested heavily.

Took a while to find it, tried Edmonds first but no luck there. Finally found the BSM & Rear Cross Traffic sys. is on the Top of the Line Model "LTZ" added within the last couple of years after its exterior refresh upgrades (brightwork) in 2013.

I doubt that the Sti-R Plus would perform as well. That test was with an Stir-O and not a Plus.
and the O in that test performed poorly compared to how mine performed against the Stinger. I am starting to think mine is a hot antenna and not a normal O.

LOL... We actually passed a LEO at one point.. he'd pulled over a customer right smack in the middle of our test course, lol, so we waited a few minutes for him to wrap up and shut off his radar gun. :) As I was passing him, I was really hoping he didn't look over and see anything odd looking. :D

I'm taking another drive today so I'll have some more time to put the Net Radar through its paces. (I work from home so I have to make a point to go out of my way and drive somewhere to play with my CM's, heh). I also just picked up a sunvisor RD mount which is handier than I thought. I used to run the Net Radar on my dash, but doing that with my Stinger meant the Stinger would constantly go off to 34.7 and I couldn't use the two at the same time. With the Net Radar mounted up high, that problem seems to go away. It may not be the greatest test ever due to interference and whatnot, but at least now I can get some idea on how it compares to the Stinger in terms of BSM falsing.

I figure the best explanation I could come up with is that we're conspiracy theorists trying to prove something or other.

Anyways, I'm planning on trimming it down a little bit and painting it black so it doesn't stand out as much. Should be less noticeable after that.

I've been saying Veil does not work since well before it was cool to say veil does not work.

Vortex - any news on when you might do more complete testing of the remote units?

Just gotta find the time. I'm pretty busy the next couple weekends with real life stuff now that the weather's getting awesome for the summer. Maybe sometime during the week if meismyname is free?
