HA! I would love to see these work against the DET guns and others. He only has 3 guns to test with and he's talking these up like it was better than sliced bread.

He states the following:

"'VPR' or High Pulse Rate Lidar Guns like Dragon Eye DALA & LTI models, Can Defeat some Older design Jammer Systems. It's no mystery, The I.C. Oscillator (Signal frequency maker) on many just could not make an effective Jam pattern for these, Some Manufacturers claimed to Jam Guns they could Not even Detect. Link , and here .
My M60 probably will Jam these Guns as respond in a Minute 10Ns. They have been tried by Guys in US but if they did Jam VPR would they tell me?. I don't have definitive Proof as I haven't tried them myself. Physics suggests the 10 Billionth a Second Pulse Imitation Time 'should' be capable of Defeating them. "

Not worth it. Just buy ALP from BRD.

Hi all,

Does anyone have experience of the M60 jammer?

http://www.radar-laser-jammers.net/index.html

It seems to rely on firing a second pulse immediately after the return chirp, will that defeet the lidar?

Thanks
If "DaveinGreatBritain" wants to prove his homemade breadboard "jammer" is actually a viable product, he's going to have to prove it, FIRST !
There's nothing in that amateur presentation I watched from your OP link to suggest it does. If the guy doesn't know how to "lock"(or use an external trigger) the sweep pattern of an O-scope, but leaves it free running so an observer can't see the incoming pulses from the Lidar vs the timing of outgoing disruptor pulses...that certainly doesn't instill any confidence in me that the M60 actually does what he claims !

Caveat Emptor- Jammernet !!!

Thanks for the replies guys.

It looks like a nice easy to fit and inexpensive product but there is no real explanation of how the thing is supposed to work so I guess I will give it a swerve.

If "inexpensive" is your goal, may I be so bold as to suggest only drive @ PSL.

If that is not acceptable, pay-to-play is what's required & how much depends on where geographically you live/drive.

This would be similar to saying that a $50 cobra detector performs as well as a redline/v1. You get what you paid for.

If you've got 130GBP to throw away, go for it, we'll be happy to test them for you :)

But seriously, just buy ALP. Not worth the waste of cash.

A Cobra actually does *something*, just not well

I emailed the guy to ask how a single return pulse could jam most or all lidar units - his reply

You do not have to put pulses before the echo return, or all over the place in precision point A or C , neither not do you need thousands of them. To jam well you just need to make effective interference. The Lidar guns know / calculate they are not getting reliable data, so cannot make a legally safe reading.
I know about look up tables patent claim nonsense in USA etc. Nil of that effects my innovation as is new and it jams wonderfully
As his demo videos only show the lidar firing at the "jammer" at close range on the bench I suspect that any jamming is down to overloading the receiver circuit in the lidar gun and that there would be no jamming at the normal operation range of several hundred yards - so I asked if he had any video of the unit working under such conditions

Do you have any videos of one of the units installed in a car jamming one of your radar guns while the car is travelling at the few hundred yard distance rather than triggering a device on the bench?
His reply astounded me

I have fired it at distance quite often on a Lane by me but not caught it on Video, a la Roy style. Once the Sun was too low, next time the battery failed, a right pain in the Arse.

I state this clearly already for all to read on FAQ section.

US Love their Long Guns Millions of Handguns, it's the Law Constitution and that's fine. We had 40 Armed Police (Heckler and Koch 9mm Carbines as SAS use), plus the Chopper hovering right by me last Year, looking for a guy just reported.

It ended up he had .....x1 .22 Air Rifle!. Like Kids have for the Garden. Many have been Shot Dead holding either nothing, or Gun like things (like a balck speed gun) , though not the Vast Numbers of Blacks as US. I am not willing to risk being Shot just to please or satisfy your and a few other guys doubts and suspicions .

US UK guys have bought them and tested them already in New York Chicago and Washington State WA , Florida and few other places, none have been disappointed or wanted a Refund.

I have had guys offering to Test these, but the catch is they want Cash or (in truth) just want to discredit any none Chiny 'profitable' Import. Especially from the old Cousins. US and tiny UK have 'History' and always rivalry since July 4 1776, for obvious reasons.

If you cannot believe this could work. I would advise consulting a guy called Vortex. He tried to steal Secrets from me, whilst saying to Millions "I wouldn't trust this guy" (they call that Libel here).

So he can't actually test the unit under real world conditions because he might get shot.

I think I may opt for a company with a more thorough testing process.

This is just laughable.

Yeah that guy's an idiot.

He was here on the forum for a short while, peddling his "jammers" and demonstrating they "worked" by showing they would trigger a Cobra's laser detector. He never showed them actually jamming a lidar gun even though he had one. Instead he puts out garbage content online, trying to sell his cheap jammers that don't do jack.

I gave him a hard time on the forum about it, eventually banned him, and now he talks smack about me on YouTube, accusing me of being a salesman who tells people that RD's can always save people from laser or I/O or some nonsense.

The world is full of characters, crooks, and people who want to take your money by selling you junk that doesn't work. He's one of them.

Avoid and move on.
