They are not always gonna be in perfect sync day by day. Some things are easier on one vs the other or might have to be implemented completely different.
Also switching gears is not always that easy and I might do something while I'm on a roll in one platform.
In general, the iOS version is still further along than the Android version.

FYI, Just uploaded a new iOS Beta that has POI and SavvySet Editing.

    Updated

Noticed when I’m speed limited muting (v1 driver savvy) and getting hit with kband and a ka signal hits me it will play the k band sound instead of the ka

Correct and good observation. That's a limitation of the V1 itself that it always produces the tones of the strongest signal regardless of the Band.
If you enable sound in V1Driver (And turn down V1) it will have the correct tones. But that adds a slight bit of risk depending on that whole audio path working as reliably as the V1 itself.
The Voice should announce the correct Band. But what you are hearing from the V1 is the K (if it's stronger than the Ka).

The same issue can happen besides when under Savvy.

    What’s your GPS accuracy doing?

If you don’t meet GPS accuracy V1Driver will stop muting. GPS Accuracy will turn red if not met. You can adjust how sensitive it is.

What is your GPS Accuracy running at, how many feet? Is it turning Red?

Is your phone mounted or in your pocket?

Was it mounted when it wasn’t working well or in your pocket?

You can turn on “Notify on GPS Status” under Notify Settings to verify. You might get a GPS notify at startup.

You’ll get a Notification if the GPS is not accurate enough while in your pocket.

If that is happening you can raise the required GPS accuracy. I would not go over 200 ft. Default is 100 ft. If it’s that bad you need to figure out why.

That is usually what causes it.

If you think it’s failing to mute with good GPS. Turn on logging in debug settings.

Repeat the problem and note the approx time it didn’t mute. Then send log in debug setting. Include forum name and brief description of problem. Don’t back out if send log or log will go poof.

    Yes.

Log is a rolling log that holds a max of 48hrs. If you turn logging off or send it, it deletes what’s there.

    Is this an active phone?

I’ve never had any one not be able to send a log.

Try sending a test log. Every time you send one it clears out the old log.

What error do you get sending a log?

Do have GPS warning notifications on?

iPhone now has build in screen recording you could try recording it misbehaving. And send it to me. If to big to email use Dropbox or iCloud or something and send a link.

You are either losing connection to Dongle or GPS accuracy is worse than threshold. There are notifications for both and it will record notifications when the app is in background, or locked or in your pocket. It won’t notify if app is in foreground. Neither GPS or RSSI should be red.

You might want to turn on display of RSSI to verify it’s not having an issue.

Your not giving me much to work with. I can only guess. Like I said nobody has failed to eventually send a log.

It’s an inactive phone so I don’t think the email has been setup the send button on the email was grey and wouldn’t turn blue

GPS accuracy’s at 16’ I have warnings set on everything it’s not triggering any
I’m running v1driver in the backround and waze in the foreground

I’ll mess around getting the email setup tomorrow if that dosent work I’ll record it with my other phone

Yeah, get normal email working with the native email app first.

Keep in mind every time you attempt to send a log it is immediately deleted, whether it sent or not. Unless it’s in the mail queue, it will send when network comes up.

Right now I’m not using my V1 so I don’t know if everything I’m about to say is completely accurate or not, but I’d like to ask a question based on what I think happens when using the V1Driver app.

When the first signal is detected and it’s been muted via V1Driver, the arrows light up but the sound is muted.

Then when another source is detected while the first source is being muted by V1Driver, I get a short audible notification from the V1 itself which I think is the bogey notification.

Is there a way within v1Driver to mute those bogey notifications when a signal is muted via V1Driver?

In places where there are several signals being muted via V1Driver, I get several bogey notifications and would prefer to get no audible or visual notification at all when a signal has been muted via V1Driver.

I recently purchased a R3 and have muted the false signals, and I really like how quiet the detector is when I drive through those problem areas where there are multiple false signals. Fortunately the R3 doesn’t bring attention to itself audibly or visually when a signal has been muted, but it’s more difficult to completely ignore the V1 with its big red flashing arrows and bogey notifications.

From what I can remember, the bogey notifications are at the volume set by the control knob (which also controls the volume of the initial notifications) and not the control lever, so to reduce the volume of bogey notifications would cause the volume of initial, real, non-muted notifications to be reduced which I wouldn’t want to do.
