Hello! I no longer have any audio after upgrading to the latest firmware (15.17.01, dated 4/18/2015.)

I have re-tested with a hand-held laser tester, and all seems to be working OK there.

Any ideas on restoring the audio?

Also ... any clear (easy to read, follow) instructions anywhere on how to create custom audio clips?
(I have seen what's posted in this forum, but it's very cryptic and nearly impossible to understand.)

    Thanks in advance.

Try to reflash the CPU again.

I have had the same problem. A reflash fixed it.

I have tried re-flashing a few times. The problem shifts from: 3 audio sources announced, then only 1, then back to none.

    Any other thoughts?

Re: no audio after upgrading to FW 15.17.01 (dated 4/18/2015) - PROBLEM SOLVED

Looks like my issue was simply not firing my laser tester long enough.

Previously, I was just doing a brief ON/OFF (or not much longer than that.) I would hear the alert tone, but not the audio indicating which laser source.

When I tested for a longer duration (5 to 10 seconds), that was enough time for the alert to be followed by the audio.

All seems to be well again, now! :)

Hmm... Should not take that long to alert...
