They should have already won the series, the home plate umpire stole game 2 when he called the foul tip strikeout that hit the end of a the bat a hit by pitch that extended the inning and fueled the comeback. the cleveland indians are trash even if they win game 5

I am not trying to be mean here but the Indians are the best team in the American League. They are just a solid club and the Yankees have a few holes on there team and they are young. It should be the Indians vs Dodgers in the W.S. but some of the other teams have something to say about that.

Come with facts please bro (i still love you man)
    ^^^what i said above is a fact

    their division is also horrible.

there are no steroids in baseball anymore (well much less), youth wins

we have the non-steroid single season home run king and he’s a rookie

when their season ends tomorrow, apologize

If the Yankees win tomorrow then i will say good job and keep on a keeping on. The Indians are solid from there line up to there pitching staff. They just do not have any weak spots. The Yankees, I think they need better starting pitching. I also think they need some more offense in the line up. I like judge but he strikes out way to much and gardner I wish the Cards had him. The Yankees are young wait till next year and beyond. What i have said does not mean that the indians will win but they should. Remember in Sports sometimes the best team does not win.

    --- Post updated ---

The Astros could sneak in there.

If our pitching staff stays healthy I think we've got a good chance going all the way. If we hit the Dodgers in the big series I doubt we'll win a game.

I will agree with you on the pitching staff but i think they can be a tough match up for the Dodgers. My opinion is i believe that they should have added a little more pitching to there staff.

This is rich coming from a Yankee fan........steroids and Yankees seem to go hand in hand..................

IIRC, I recall about 10 years ago 26 Yanks were involved in Steroid Gate!! (allegedly of course).....

Maybe, we'll see. I'm pretty myopic when it comes to baseball. Pretty much Astros-centric so know very little about the rest of the league except the Dodgers sound like a juggernaut this season. I've got a some Cleveland buddies and they're gripping bad about this game five with the Yankees. They kind of feel like the Indians were playing with a little too loose with the pin stripes.

lol come on its the playoffs!

also, i don’t know the exact numbers but wild card teams have always had some mystical advantage coming into the playoffs, they seem to always wreck the “better” teams. (Yes the Indians did win over a 100 games so i do give them some credit)

By the end of the day today, we'll have a much better picture of how this is going to shake out.

i live in the bronx, which isn’t the best place on earth. They are the only team that plays here, so ive been going to see them with my dad since ive been a kid. the old and new yankee stadium. i loved them during the early 90’s when they sucked, donnie baseball baby!!! go yankees!!!

i went to elementary school a few blocks from yankee stadium. The players used to come visit us and bring us the free giveaway stuff from the stadium and give us speeches. I met jim lyrtiz and matt nokes when i was in 5th grade in school.

Nice job by the Yankees and way to go. The Indians as bad as i hate to say it, they CHOKED. Last night they looked like they did not want it as bad as the Yankees did. As well as they have played all year and then not show up last night they have got to be pretty disappointed.

I cannot believe the John Farrell firing. The Red Sox's were a weak playoff team. This was not his fault. I would love to see the Cards fire MM and hire JF.

The stinking Cubs are still in it. They just wanted it more then the Nationals. They showed alot of grit, this is what the Yankees have also have. The Cubs and Yankees are going to be very hard to beat.

This series against the Indians showed me that they have a lot of fight in them and a will to win.

It won't be a sweep but the Astro's are certainly more than capable of an Indians like implosion. And if they do run into the Dodgers in the final series I'm more than certain the Dodgers will blow it. Yankees/Cubs maybe not so much. I can only imagine what the ratings for either of those series would be. I'm sure the networks are praying for an Astros retirement.
