Not sure there will be enough interest but any chance of getting a group established dedicated to reporting on enforcement hotspots, tactics, and other useful observations from this area? Sort of a way to compliment the RDFGS for NJ.

Some of this could be posted in regional, but I don't want to clutter it with information not useful to the larger user community.

Did a group ever get formed? This is an older post but am interested if available.

I'll check to see if there is a NJ/NY/CT? Thread after I post this. I would be interested in providing and obtaining such information. I would also be interested in information for the New Jersey/Delaware/Maryland areas, as I do drive into those two states from spring to fall. Thanks!

After reading this thread, sounds interesting as I travel a lot mainly in NJ.....some in NY, PA, DEL, MD, DC and VA. I am fairly new and a beginner but would be interested to contribute in the group, as I'm purchasing/gathering my CMs and dash cam this year.

Think we need a minimum of 10, and I don't know if we have that many interested people in the area. I see enforcement in many of the same spots. Not sure if that is really true in the rest of the tri-state area.

I drive a lot on the same roads. I know the lurking spots on my commute. If we can get ten that would be nice. I am still interested for what it's worth

If a group is not formed how would we start a thread that can be controlled? I would think in the grist ate area we have a lot of members. We could start just be posting the roads we travel and hopefully people would add once the see it helps.

A I count six including myself. Maybe we can get oldcelt and a few friends to make ten. I would like to see at least some of the major roads covered here. If anybody knows someone on the forums that might be interested could you reach out?

I'm in. I travel a 1hr commute every day in NJ. Mostly on the GSP and turnpike. Many spots are obvious on those roads (U turn arounds on median) but can still provide some pointers on where and locations for many local spots.

I drive to Newark from the top of the garden state parkway everyday - get off exit 153 and then take route 21 the rest of the way. I'm new to the forum and realize this thread is a year old but if you're still doing something like this I have some great spots to points out.

In addition to the garden state parkway I'm constantly on the palisades parkway from exit 11 to the GW bridge. And, I know 287 fairly well too.

Let me know if I can be any help.

We can do this, but I am not sure how to make the information the most useful. I started a sample map, but it started to get crowded in certain areas. (This thread: Post #12) With ok from Forum, we may be able to start a thread and keep adding to it. We might also be able to do something at the County level. For example we have a map of areas where X band has been reported. See this thread Maybe something that indicates what bands have been seen in which counties. Open to thoughts or suggestions.

I would like to get this going. I will work with(or be co-mod) for this group.

I can lockdown Northern Jersey(Passaic and Bergen County) for the almost 100%.

I think we should break this up by Interstates, and NJ/NY routes. I.e.,

I-80

NJ-17

Etc. let's bounce some ideas around!
