Feel free to ridicule me if this is a dumb question, but I never noticed this hole in the left side of my V1 before:

Anyone know what it's for?

I thought that was audio out or something...but I can't say I've pondered much about that...and looking at it, looks too small to be a real jack?

I confirmed it's too small for a standard 1/8" headphone jack.

OMG, I am so sorry but how could a V1 owner not know that's where the sound comes out of??? Its a cheep piezo speaker behind there.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Now if you dont own one I can see thinking its a headphone jack, because that's what it looks like and why wouldn't it have one, Escorts do. And that's what i originally thought it was. lol

Well, this wasn't exactly the discussion I was expecting for "What's this hole for?" :D

That's a small hole for sure. Good thing he did not plug it.
The next post would of been "where did my sound go?"
Sorry for poking fun, but it does look like a headphone jack not 1/8" but a mini jack.

IIRC NormSky on the other forum says he puts his finger over it on startup to mute the sounds. I think it's the only hole you can do that with :D
