I want to say thanks to @darkpenguin, @lugnuts, @Eape, and @CobawLT2010 for coming out today. It was my first time shooting an ALP so I enjoyed that.

A couple of things to note, against the PL3 for Eape, we got one PT on the PHL, but we're thinking that was a fluke because we ran it again and didn't see it happen again. However, we're thinking it was because the ALP was firing and bouncing off of a sign, which confused it and got this PT.

I just noticed, the TSS is not listed on my car. It is actually between the PL3 and LRB.

Where's the DET on the LI chart?

Thanks for having me today. I enjoyed learning about the testing procedures.

Edit: I should also note that I was running ALP firmware 5.1.1/6.1 (released April 24th, 2015) for this test. The latest ALP firmware, however, as of today is 5.1.2/6.2 (released May 6th, 2015).

Thanks for coming out. Sometimes we jibber jabber too much and testing takes longer than it should some times.

There really wasn't any point in shooting the LI with the DET since we all know the results: IPT.
Then this should show up in the results as "Not tested" or something like that.

Also, why are the long PT distances in red while the short PT distances are in green? It's generally the other way around (because not being able to defend against a close shot is not as bad as not being able to defend against a far away shot).

If you are getting PTs at a long distance, that's a very bad thing. If you are on top of the cop and get a PT, you don't have much to worry about since you should see the cop by that time and have already JTK.

PTs at greater than 1000 feet are real bad, <1000, bad and < 500 feet not so good. I'll take a PT at 250 or 500 any day over 1000 feet PT.

Sick of here...
yes but I had to go rabbitless the rest of the way after I went right at the split. its not often I come across a rabbit that travels at the speeds I like to.
I was stuck in traffic for the next three hours because I went left at the fork... but I really wanted that computer case... :(

Someone in another thread said that ER is making or has made an algorithm for the LSP to jam the DE? Can anyone confirm this?

Still wouldn't drop the money on a LSP but it would be nice to know if there's another jammer out there that can defeat the DE. Also, if the LSP had a patch for DE, it would seem that LI would have one coming as well, but I guess maybe not.

It's been said it's the same as LI 8.18, moderately effective against some DET guns, but requires extremely precise goldilocks mounting.

I see. Is there yet a newer update coming that should do even better, or is this pretty much where it sits? The other members made it sound as if the update coming for the LSP was pretty successful against the DE in RR's test, but that may be blown out of proportion, or I may have just been making contextual assumptions.

I mean, that would be pure speculation. The 8.18 update that we tested for the LI's were not terribly impressive, and I think we will need to see more testing. Only the ALP's have been shown to consistently work on a wide range of cars as long as relatively basic rules (e.g. heads no more than 18-20 ish inches apart) are followed.

Maybe the LSP's will be able to do that too, and the Stinger revision. We just don't know yet.

2. Hawks game
The game wasn't downtown though... it was still in tampa... I'm sure it brought out most of the crowd though... going to other peoples houses and maybe the bars but I wouldn't have thought during the game people would want to be stuck in traffic... rather than in front of a TV... :/
