Allowed Frequencies - Special thanks to Winterbrew for finding this and keeping this updated
http://www.acma.gov.au/theACMA/radiodetermination-licence-guidelines#traffic
Operation in the 24 - 24.25 GHz band
The operation of low powered devices in the 24 - 24.25 GHz band is currently met by the Radiocommunications (Low Interference Potential Devices) Class Licence 2000 (the LIPD Class Licence). An apparatus licence is not required for low powered devices operating in the 24 - 24.25 GHz frequency band that comply with the requirements of the class licence.

Operation in the 34 GHz band
Approval has been granted for the operation of traffic radar speed guns in the 34.2 - 35.2 GHz frequency band by Federal, State and Territory law enforcement agencies. The operation of traffic radar speed guns in this band is authorised by a radiodetermination licence. The following special condition will be attached to such licences, due to the non-fixed nature of the radar service:

'No interference shall be caused to any radiocommunication station or service and no protection from interference by such stations or services shall be afforded.'

According to ACMA
just be careful with relying on the rules for ACMA - we have had reported posts from other states that they use guns outside the allowed range ;)

Oh, :thanks: added

suggestion Naz eg: qld settings for sti-plus seg ka, and the redline if the band seg differ from the plus now that got bs, if u see what i mean, people going from state can just the freq KA # if they want to, just trying to group em

ka-1 33.392- 33.704 33.500 reported so any freq in that band become rolled into ka1 for setting ur detector up
ka2 33.704-33.896 none
ka3 33.886- 34.198 none
ka4 34.184- 34.592 none
ka5 34.592- 34.808 none
ka6 34.808- 35.166 35.100 reported incl 35.085 reported in the sticky, as u can see to add this into same group KA6 which cover the variation ,without adding seperate ones
ka7 35.143- 35.383 none
ka8 35.387- 35.618 35.500 reported
ka9 35.595- 35.835 none
ka 10 35.830- 35998 none

Good job dinki. We should have settings to cover oz wide.

Have now installed sti-r and have redline and v1 . Gotta work out which one to focus on k band.
Bit of back yard testing sti-r segmented is beating redline with only seg 1 and ten off. V1 not getting a look in behind brick walls
