I reviewed the footage, and I am 0.5m from the white line, 2.5M of shoulder, and 3m behind a small tree for the approx distance from the shoulder to the camera - total distance to car approx 6-7.5M max when photo taken.
Interesting - the spec from the operator's manual gives the range of measured distances from 10 - 75m.

The operator (if watching) can trigger a manual photo aquisition if required

10M would be the absolute maximum in my opinion.

I believe it's more like 7M based on this occurrence.

Just bumping up a very old thread - I've spoken to winterbrew regarding rear sensor placement for VPS and wanted to know if there was anyone else who regularly encounters these - care to share your sensor setup - angle outwards etc?

I will be running 3 sensors - 2 RX and 1 TX on my STI and 3 RX on my daily driver (larger car)
