I have to drive about 45 or so minutes to a city north of me this week for work; unfortunately, my truck had a stud rust through on the manifold a while back, and I haven't been able to get it fixed just yet. My dad is going to be nice enough to let me borrow the Hummer that he just bought for the week to drive. I never gave it much thought, but I don't believe I can mount the V1 level, because of the windshield angle. So I guess it is time to finally put the visor mount to use.

I personally don't like the idea of this mount, but you gotta do what you gotta do I guess. I hope everything goes well.

Hmmm, guess I've never actually thought about how steep Hummer's windshields are, but like you've said, gotta do what you gotta do!

I've used plenty of visor mounts. It's not a big deal to use. The hardest part is leveling the visor so the detector is straight.

Yeah, I found that out. Without anything better to level it out with, I wedged a pack of Nutter Butters in the visor. It was a fairly quiet trip today; I ran into two K band speed signs and one leo that was ff with his lights on, on an off ramp. I don't know what he was doing, unless he had just pulled someone over.
