Mass. Thats right boys and girls. Encountered CO X band in Mass on 91. I never saw the LEO, but the way it ramped up, it was definitely a LEO. He was traveling opposite of me and we were divided by alot of tress. 99.9% sure it was a legit LEO.

I wish freakin X band would die. My dinky town used X up until recently. I got hit with I/O Ka 35.5 today. Thank God I wasn't speeding, I would have been toast.

I see X bad periodically from units in the south suburbs of Chicago area near the Indiana boarder. I used to be tempted to turn off X-Band on my RD....until I saw those cops, guess it will stay turned on forever.

LOL. I only post BS posts on the other site, and its only about Cobras. I'd never do anything like that here. Yes, it was definitely LEO X band. Steady classic ramp up that reached almost full strength. The only reason I didnt post and it didnt go full strength, is bc I believe hwas traveling in the opposite direction, on a hwy divided by alot of trees. It was def a LEO tho.

I have X off on the V1 and on with the 9500ci. I run across it about once a year in my travels, but once can make a bad day!

I've said it before, Virginia county sheriffs Depts in the middle of no where off 301 still use it. Confirmed the sighting of them last summer Caroline County Sheriffs marked patrol car using C/O X and again in Sussex County. They are MPH Old X band units since the depts are so small. Leave it on in the middle of no where places. Wicomico County Sheriffs still have a few patrol cars on the Eastern shore in MD with X band as well. No where else in MD however. NC still uses it a lot as well.

You ever see it in GA ? Or is mostly like SC or AL ?
I have seen in in NC, near Cherokee and have heard reports of it in southern GA. I have also seen it in MD.

Yep, my town has the old MPH X band units. Never have seen anything else here. One neighboring town uses K, and another uses Ka. I see it all here, even lidar on the parkway, but can never seem to get hit with one. :(

Never seen X band in MA... Until you can confirm it with a cruiser/antenna sighting I wouldn't get that concerned.

Some of their construction message boards have had X band drones in the past, maybe that's what you came across?

P.S. Welcome aboard Donut Patrol! Didn't know you'd joined!
