Exactly. Some of the responses here are comical. The question should be received as positive. It’s with excitement and intent to buy when the product is available. Not impatience, nor lack of reading, etc. Some people take themselves far too seriously. Relax. Life’s too short.
That’s what I was looking for - if anyone had more specific information on a release date. Next year could be days away, or over 365. Thus my question.
Sure hope it is sooner rather than later. That technology sounds incredible!
Agree. I run a V1 with the app and it’s mostly quiet. Also, an R3 in my wife’s car. It’s too chatty on 1.37 and even 1.5, for me.
This unit is for a friend that has an older redline that is alerting to k more than it’s not. So annoying. But, he won’t fuss with tons of settings. Wants to...
Who currently makes the best detector for BSM filtering? Long range radar detection is also important, but I need one that stays quiet with minimal fuss on settings within the unit or third party application. Thanks!
Been out of the mix here a bit, so go easy on me.
Have an older Redline that’s segmented on KA. Started using it again and I can’t take it. It falses so much on K-band, I turn it off.
Is there an update I can pursue from Escort? I would just send it in. How much?
Thanks for the assistance. I used the suggestion above and it really quieted down the unit.
One thing bugging me is there is a “your speed is” sign in the complex I drove 12 hours to. The V1 does not respond to it at all. I reset it back to “A” and still no response. Why would that be?
Hey, thanks again for all of the information here. So, is there no way to use V1 Connection to narrow down what the unit "sees" on K-band? The idea being to cut down on the junk on the highway from these blind spot monitoring devices. If so, what frequency do I want to dial it down to? If...
Good question. V1 3.892 with the Bluetooth dongle, savvy and V1 connection - the app.
I would love to get k-band to not alert until over 4 dots so I can avoid much of the junk around town and now on the highway. Also, if I can safely notch out certain chronic offenders - like I do with...
Can someone tell me what I need to do in V1 C to quiet down the k band madness from Mazda, Honda, GM, etc.? I know how to do it; just need the preferred frequency settings and the in/out of the box settings. Thanks so much!
This is all great - thank you! So, I run an I-Phone, so what are my options better than the V1 Connection? I've used the driver, but admit it wasn't user friendly enough, so I stopped. Perhaps I need to dig back into that more?
3.8945 is the model, FYI. I followed Vortex's suggestions on the KA sweeps, FYI. Amen on the 33.8.
On the k-band, I am: Self-mute logic ON. Time period - 7. No muting above 3 lights- ON. Un-mutes above 5 lights - on. K-band rear mute - ON.
What I am trying to accomplish is to quiet...
