I apologize that I totally forgot about this thread because I got the result long time after I got the ticket.
Sometime in December my lawyer called me and informed that my case was dismissed without any penalty. I was at work so I couldn't ask for more details but I assumed that the officer...
Hired a lawyer today and was told that the court date is tentative and could even be sometime in 2018.
So it's going to be a while till I can post my court result but I'll definitely post it here once I hear from them. Thank you guys!
He didn't say criminal speeding or other things. But he mentioned 3 different speeds he tagged me on and that I'll be paying highest fine if he wrote the fasted speed on the ticket.
As a closing comment he said I didn't tailgate anyone so he gives credit for that.
I think I'm going to use a...
This. Yeah at first I felt weird when that vehicle looked like as if it didn't want to keep its distance too much from me, and when I sped up so did it.
I noticed it following me like this when I got on ramp so basically he started following or pacing me before I got on the highway.
I use V1D and checked the log just now. The only band my V1 detected was a few K 24.xx bands but no other bands.
I also checked the ticket and it says pace clock, sorry I should've double checked before posting this.
Now my question is, is there a way to prevent or countermeasure this pace...
I got pulled over last night.
He was following right behind me for at least more than 5 minutes but I couldn’t recognize the vehicle because it was in the middle of night and all I saw was just a car with headlights on following me.
Then he lit up his FHP car and pulled me over. He said he's...
Thanks for your opinion!
When I read Vortex's install guide he's saying that heads should be spaced out each other no more than 24".
I measured mine and they are actually about 23.8" apart. So do you think they are okay as it is now?
Sorry for reposting this but I also wanted to ask about rear heads placement. (original post : https://www.rdforum.org/showthread.php?t=55309 )
I'm going to bring the car back to the installer this Friday and have them move the front OUTER heads forward so that it flushes with the chrome frame...
I live in Florida, so it's not illegal. I'll take a photo of rear heads placement too when I get off work this evening and post it.
Actually it's good to know about what your friend said because although it's not illegal I didn't like it's standing out too much. But I guess it's just me lol...
Wow! I was thinking backwards!
Thank you so much for your input guys, I postponed the adjustment to next week.
By the way, is the center head okay with current position? Should it be brought out more too?
Got my ALP installed today, but told the installer to make some adjustments
They said the center head(below the emblem) is placed as back as it can get(due to some metal structure behind it) so I'm okay with it.
I didn't like the side heads because I originally told them to place flush or a few...
I bought ALP laser jammer but haven't had it installed yet as I'm still looking and discussing with different shops for installation.
So before I have the jammer installed I thought I should make a decision for RD too.
1. What kind of vehicle you have and do you want a remote or a windshield...
I just got my new ALP delivered yesterday and have been going over threads for proper installation.
I'm going to place 3 heads on the front like in the photo.(we don't have front license plate)
They say head should be flush with the grille to a few mm ahead of them but even if I do this, the...
I was advised to place the 3rd head right below the MB emblem but it looks not easy to do it due to a thick metal post behind the grille in that area.
So I was wondering if it still can be effective if I placed it at the top center of the lower intake area as shown in Red.
(I would like to...
