When do you expect the genetic testing results? This easily ranks up there as one of the top ten "things that are painful to wait for".

If everything goes ok I am looking into a baby monitor but what's the I/O for a baby? Do babies accept HDMI or DVI?! Any recommendations would be we

Over 10 years ago such features were hard(er) to come by! That's neat. One thing I liked about the mostly-worked video monitor I had was that when you turned the screen off, it was just fine as "audio only".

Right... I wouldn't rely on a monitor vs. good sense (no loose toys, pillows, have proper sleepwear). Plus like I said before, monitors can exacerbate anxiety issues for one or both parents. I know because I've seen it firsthand.

I was just going to say: If anyone has current experience that we TRUST it would be Vortex. My knowledge of baby tech is over a decade old now. Given today's technology, I'd probably also go with a similar setup. Audio only w/dedicated "baby hardware" and whatever IP/wifi cameras of your...

If everything goes ok I am looking into a baby monitor but what's the I/O for a baby? Do babies accept HDMI or DVI?! Any recommendations would be we

That's right. Audio-only is another option. I had an analog 900 MHz video monitor where you could turn the screen off (better battery life). An LED signal meter would dance around the louder sounds got. And with the baby monitors (not wifi ones), video is a crapshoot... but tech has probably...

'squirrel is right. Should you be blessed with a first order harmonic (as I call them), you'll realize NOBODY needs a monitor. It CAN feed into anxiety for those who can't turn off the "worry" factor. Babies have been sleeping since... well, the dawn of man, and we somehow managed to survive...

I can NOT believe I'm going to comment on this... but... Nest cameras: I have six running at once at my home. Since it's going through wifi and the cloud then back to your computer/phone, there will be some lag. However, you get the benefit of monitoring remotely. Dedicated Baby Monitor: By...

Or... Regular magnet holds "leaf" to your plate. Turn on electromagnet on the plate's backside to REPEL the magnetized leaf OFF the front of the plate. Power only used when energized.
