Possible R3/R1 single suction cup plastic locknut premature failure?

As for the r3 and dfr 7, it's not crazy tight, but it vibrates way less than the small suction cup mount. I like it because it takes up so little room, you can mount it damn near anywhere.

Possible R3/R1 single suction cup plastic locknut premature failure?

I'm pretty sure they just used the existing dfr/r1/r3 mount and just added r7 to the name for sales because it "works". Works great with my R3 and the wife's dfr7.

Possible R3/R1 single suction cup plastic locknut premature failure?

I have a roll of 3m mounting tape in my truck that I used because I already had it. Redid it after it fell off, and it's been good through many hot days. Probably just hadn't cleaned it well enough.

Possible R3/R1 single suction cup plastic locknut premature failure?

They can be removed with a heat gun (WAY hotter than the sun though) and some elbow grease followed by cleanup with alcohol and a microfiber towel. That said, I don't recommend removal if you can avoid it.

Possible R3/R1 single suction cup plastic locknut premature failure?

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F323729585806 Any of them like this. They're all around $8 and I have one in 3 different vehicles. Mine had fallen off the glass once in the heat, but I had already removed and moved it once, replacing the mounting...

Possible R3/R1 single suction cup plastic locknut premature failure?

I ditched the uniden suction cup mounts for a permanent windshield mount off eBay for like $8. It works great, and **** spending a fortune just to mount it.

    R1/R3 v1.50 Firmware Released

For me it made all the 24.160ishs stand out thanks to all the new Chrysler/Jeep POSs out there.

    R1/R3 v1.50 Firmware Released

What are your settings? Do you have K filter off? Are they stationary alerts you haven't locked out? I don't ever remember seeing falses at 24.100. I remember 24.200 and 24.160 because I see them enough to remember them lol

Highway Radar: Waze + VASCAR aircraft alerts on Android

I have a feature request which should be pretty easy to implement. In the areas I normally use Highway Radar (the IN Toll Road), LEOs rarely sit in the same trap spots for more than a few minutes at a time. With all the Daze 30 min old data, HR is constantly going nuts. I'd like to see an...

    R1/R3 v1.50 Firmware Released

If there's k-band in your area, K-narrow can cut out a lot of legitimate alerts. I suggest K-wide.

    R1/R3 v1.50 Firmware Released

I see Pacificas daily lately, and every on causes an alert around 24.160. Also a few of the newest Jeep models. Never a Charger though.

    R1/R3 v1.50 Firmware Released

Well, been running 1.50 for a day now, and not a single Honda false which is nice... Now I think I'm going to need a K Block at 24.160 for all the damn Pacificas people are buying here!

Indiana State Police using unmarked Challengers?

I would, but I'm apparently not intermediate group or higher [emoji6]

Indiana State Police using unmarked Challengers?

I'm up in NWI, and in addition to the trucks (white, black, blue), on the toll road I see a lot of Chargers, explorers, and even an unmarked, blocked out Durango. My R3 doesn't really react to lidar, but I've suspected a couple of median sitters are using it when I don't get a hit. Lots of KA...

Indiana State Police using unmarked Challengers?

F-150s, Ram, and Sierra's. Multiple colors, too. Every new crew cab truck I see, I count the shark fins. More than 1 and it's a LEO.

    Is this the hardwire cable?

Until the first time they're alone in the back country on their new bike... the draw is too strong [emoji848]

    Is this the hardwire cable?

I'm assuming it's for a motorcycle headset input. Kinda hard to hear your RD go off when your blasting down the back roads at 100+ on a bike lol.

    Is this the hardwire cable?

Not really, it's more to avoid using the accessory relay to drive anything directly on a motorcycle. Depends on the specific bike, but it could vary.

    Is this the hardwire cable?

You could, and that's how I would do it as long as you don't plan to exceed 10 amps with the detector and the lighter simultaneously. The "right" way to do it would be to wire a relay from the batter with an inline fuse trigger by an accessory circuit that's on with the key.
