The last time I spoke with you on the phone I remember you mentioning a few RD’s to keep in mind. One I believe wasn’t out yet. If you don’t remember that’s ok. I’m leaning toward a Uniden R3 and yes its main use will be the freeway mounted on my motorcycle. How would recommend I dial it in? I’ve never setup a RD before. Or if you come across any good posts let me know.

What about the Uniden R3? Also I was just on YouTube watching some of Radar Roys videos on how to mount a RD on his wife’s sportster and his big twin. Did you mention he had passed away? If so my condolences.

The uniden r3 is great too, same range as the uniden r1 just no gps, but if you are using it for highway only, why spend the xtra money? no i dont usually say anything unless someone asks. its a senstaive subject

The little time I’ve been on here ive come to the realization that purchasing a Cobra RD wasn’t a smart choice. Now it’s clear to me that you were trying to be as nice as possible to me by saying I bought a pile of junk! lol

What were the Uniden RD’s you recommended I take a look at?

      Thanks

I didnt want to make you feel bad. The uniden r1 is a wonderful long range detector, great for highway driving. it cant be used with the hard system, but a person can get the tpx transmitter and it will pare with certain helmets.
