That doesn't look bad at all. I'm going to get some quotes on painting the bumpers and the chrome grille surround and if it turns out to be too expensive, I'll go with the white plastidip.

Good to know. Do you have any suggestions what, if anything could be used to cover it up for testing? If I were to get the chrome painted over with white would that do the trick? Just looking for suggestions here. I have the truck and the ALP system, I can't return either one so I need to get it...

I removed the screws for testing and used 3M double sided tape so yes, its easy to move them. The first round of testing (other thread) we did bring them out as much as possible and very close to the headlights and it had no effect but I will try again at the next testing. I don't have my own...

Just to be clear, the bumper was never taped only the grille was taped. Exactly what you see in the picture. What is confusing to me is that why if it is a reflections issue would the passenger side be JTG but not the drivers side?

Sounds like the consensus is to pull one of the RX sensors from the back (which will be a real PITA) and replace the front TX sensor? Is it a possibility that the drivers side RX sensor is bad but still passes the self tests? Its a brand new system, how often are senors bad out of the box? How...

Good point, lol didn't even think about that. And just place it where the TX is currently?

I understand its a big target and a lot of area to protect but the rear is JFG and while it doesn't have as much chrome it is about the same surface area, I would think. I'm willing to try anything at this point. If I need to buy a 3rd RX head and give that a try or maybe even tape off all the...

Yep, just did the latest firmware right before testing. The TX was def level, it was checked when it was moved. The RX heads were not leveled at every move but they were "eye leveled"

I'm creating a new thread but there is some material and info from Here that may assist in understanding the testing history. More testing with @Patton250 today, he will probably need to chime in on his perspective behind the gun but I believe there was IPT continuously on the driver side. I...

    ALP Head Placement on Sierra

Going to hopefully be testing with Patton250 again soon. Was wanting to get ideas of changes that we should try to get this thing JTG. Please give me all your ideas. I'm going to remove the screws and use double sided tape so we can move the heads around during testing.

At 1 point during testing the RX heads were out past the chrome. Still failed.

    ALP Head Placement on Sierra

I'm not sure about that. @Patton250 would know. That day of testing was short and he had to get back to work so I don't know all the details.

    ALP Head Placement on Sierra

After moving the TX head up, the front still failed. Center mass was still JTG but headlights got PT. It was suggested that maybe moving everything back into the grille some, to keep all the chrome from reflecting might work. I guess that will be the next thing I try.

    ALP Head Placement on Sierra

I believe center mass was good but everything else got PT. Where it was originally, it was 13" between RX and TX now its 14". We also moved the RX's out about 2" closer to the headlights and then tested again, all with the same results.
