I'm not a big fan of RMR for obvious reasons, but they're coming out with this new detector, the Phantom T. What intrigues me about this model is that is has MMIC (monolithic microwave integrated circuit) technology. This will supposedly make this model undetectable to the Sceptre. If you do some research on the technology while I can't confirm that it has been applied before to a radar detector, in theory it might deliver what it promises because it takes the microwave mixing down to a chip level and theoretically should have next to no emissions for the Sceptre to pick up on. While this is RMR we're talking about, it could be total BS, it might actually work and this is what I'm curious about. Of course we'll have to wait until this thing shows up for testing, but you never know. It might make for future generations of non leaking Cobras.
