Get quotes from several companies. Go with whoever gives you the best deal for the coverage you want.

Then do this again when you turn 25. Your rate should drop then, but you may be able to get a lower rate by switching.
If I passed you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

    Re: Car Insurance

Essurance is WAY cheaper than Progressive for me. With progressive I had my 04 STI and a 04 Rodeo with basic coverage it was 600.00 every 6 months 1 driver (me). Then I sold the Rodeo and replaced it with a 2012 Prius with full coverage, still just 1 driver (me). Price went to 900 every 6 months. I switched to Essurance, 04 STI (basic coverage) and the 2012 prius (full coverage). two drivers me and my wife. I pay 588 for 6 months. I am about to add full coverage to the STI and I will be paying just under 700 with both cars on full coverage for 6 months.

    2011 Subaru STI

Seems like I have to play the game every few years, geico was good, then switched to a local company, then back to geico, then to progressive. Once rates start going up, I start shopping.

For political reasons I would not reccomend GEICO or Progressive. GEICO helped to invent the LIDAR gun, and Progressive wants to directly monitor your driving.

X2 on Geico. They're the lobbying force behind RD bans such as in Virginia, and when you buy insurance from them they'll ask you if you have an RD and (from what I've heard) won't insure you if you have one. They've also been known to buy radar and laser guns and give them to police departments, so they can issue more tickets so Geico can raise your rates, so they can make more money and buy more radar guns, etc. etc. They're a huge scam.

Also, there's no way they can possibly be competitively priced with such a huge advertising budget.
